Cheryle N. Yallen
Cheryle N. Yallen, M.S., President of CNY Enterprises, is an international trainer/consultant, bringing over twenty-five years of social service experience to the consulting field. This experience includes working with non-profit organizations as a consultant, Executive Director, Board member and volunteer.
Ms. Yallen has designed and implemented an array of training, recruitment and fundraising programs. Ms. Yallen is both a practitioner and consultant, bringing today’s experience to consulting and training projects. As an active member of the social service community, she currently consults with numerous organizations, in addition to being the Executive Director of a private foundation and Executive Director of a special needs summer camp.
Kathleen has made a name for herself as a leader in her field by developing and presenting workshops to over 16,000 participants from diverse backgrounds in the US, Canada, Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Caribbean. She has lead workshops and webinars for nonprofit and governmental organizations. She has managed volunteer programs and served on various boards. Another area of her expertise involves strategic planning and project management. As a certified strategic planner in the Cornerstone Organizational Planning© process—a process that fits exceptionally well with her philosophy of how an organization can work effectively and achieve commitment from all its members – Kathleen has the ability to lead groups through complex ideas in a fun and practical way. Kathleen is currently working on a book about project management for nonprofits.
Barbara K. Wentworth, M.S., is currently Director of Community Building for United Way of York County (Maine) and associate of CNY Enterprises. She has served numerous nonprofits as an executive leader, countywide volunteer center director, program developer, researcher and board member. Barbara is a seasoned trainer and educator with over 20 years of experience in volunteer program management, non-profit management and outcome measurement/evaluation. She has presented workshops and seminars at the local, state, regional, national and international levels. Her areas of expertise include organization development, board governance, volunteer resources management, evaluation and outcome measurement, grant writing and personal and professional leadership. She is currently working towards a certificate in professional coaching.
Cynthia Rudmann has a wealth of experience in adult education and training, proposal and grant writing, and volunteer program management. Her service as a VISTA volunteer led to a rewarding career in government (at the Corporation for National Service and the US Office of Personnel Management), and subsequent senior leadership positions at Graduate School USA, a national nonprofit training and education provider. Currently she is a consultant for a variety of corporate and nonprofit clients. In addition to writing and editing proposals, grants, policy handbooks, training manuals and other business documents, she provides consultation regarding federal contract opportunities and strategies, staff training, and curriculum development.
